NYCC Metaverse 2020 Panel — Telling Tales Between the Stars

New York Comic Con Metaverse Panel — Telling Tales Between the Stars

I moderated this NYCC Metaverse panel with a group of exciting sci-fi authors

On October 1st, I was invited to participate in the 2020 New York Comic Con virtual event, NYCC Metaverse. I moderated an author panel about writing science fiction, titled “Telling Tales Between the Stars”. We discussed how they approach world building, storytelling, and themes—in space! The official blurb:

How do you write sci-fi for adults? How do you write believable, fictional tech? Explore the outer limits of imagination with Elaine Mongeon and Glen Zipper (Devastation Class), Tochi Onyebuchi (Rebel Sisters), Essa Hansen (Nophek Gloss), Elizabeth Bear (Machine), and Christopher Paolini (To Sleep in a Sea of Stars) across a variety of subgenres of science fiction, in conversation with Adron Buske (host, Fictitious).

Bounty Board Podcast Guest Appearance

The Bounty Board podcast recently invited me on as a guest to talk about storytelling in video games. Host Caleb Sawyer and I have a terrific, funny, rambling chat about my favorite games, the stories that made them memorable, and how those interactive narratives are changing fiction.
