To all my friends, family, co-workers, assorted acquaintances and good people of earth – I hope you are having a lovely and fulfilling Christmas! (You know, if you’re into that kinda thing.)
Some Christmas Day advice: if you’re hungry, Sonic is open. However, they will forget your $4 popcorn chicken. And your fries. Weird Mail. B-Day Concert. New Gig.
Here’s another round of random bloggings:
. Pro Evo – I got this book today in the mail called ProEvo: Pro Evolution – Guideline for an Age of Joy. I’ve never heard of it, didn’t order, don’t know where it came from, other than it was plastic wrapped with an insert that mentioned the mysterious “Foundation”.

President Bush and Senate conservatives are working to push through a constitutional amendment designed to ban same-sex marriage. The amendment has a slim chance of passage, lacking enough supporters to raise the required 2/3 vote. It serves as an opportunity for Bush’s followers to strengthen their anti-gay (oh, is that too strong a term?) stance to draw support for upcoming elections.
The majority of Democrats and many Moderate Republicans oppose the amendment, citing it as pandering to the religious right, clearly bigoted or simply unnecessary.

I see a lot of forwards, bulletins and such that pass on the age old story of “arrogant, atheist teacher/professor aggressively attacks Christianity in the classroom, only to be thwarted by a faithful student”. It’s a mini ‘David and Goliath” story designed to give those of faith a dose of empowerment in the face of difficult questions concerning the existence, omnipotence and benevolence of God.
