Another fantastic show from Carbon Leaf. Last Friday, a small contingent of Armadians attended the CL headlining show at the Blueberry Hill Duck Room. It was the band’s first sold-out St. Louis show, which they were obviously excited about. Somebody offered Doug a hundred bucks for his ticket (which he turned down). The concert was incredible, an absolutely revelatory performance. Carbon Leaf is my favorite band. Wen and I have seen them live four times now. This show was my favorite so far. Interesting show highlight: they began their encore by going completely unplugged. No mics, no amps, just the band (sans drums) projecting “Learn to Fly” to a packed room struggling to remain silent. Other highlights – friggin’ everything.

This is the website launch for web/graphic designer, writer, photographer and musician Adron Buske (hey, that’s me!). This site will serve as a portfolio of my creative efforts across very media, and a collection of my thoughts on those endeavors and whatever random stuff tickles my blog-fancy.
A little exposition: I launched my first personalized website sometime back around 2003. That original site was focused on my music projects. I’d recently “gone solo” as a singer/songwriter/acoustic guitar slinging performer, playing coffee shops, bars, charity events and the like around the St. Louis area. After awhile, music slid from my first priority project to somewhere around #5, so I pulled down that site and began work on a new one devoted to a broader mix of my activities.
